How to achieve the Right to Energy for all Europeans?

On September 18 trade unions, anti-poverty associations and environmental NGOs met with Members of the European Parliament.

Awareness on the causes and consequences of energy poverty has been increasing for a decade and now is the time for action, declared the Right to Energy Coalition on the occasion of a breakfast organised on Tuesday 12th of September in the European parliament in Strasbourg. EPSU Youth meeting stresses solidarity and plans for future work on jobs, rights and its voice in EPSU

On September 8-9 with young workers from across Europe, EPSU (European Public Services Union) Youth network held its largest meeting ever. 55 young trade unionists participated and developed the work programme until Congress, elected a Steering Committee and agreed to work on youth unemployment, precarious work, organizing and much more.

Lithuanian trade unions demand a pay rise and safe jobs

On April 28th, Lithuanian trade unions action was held in Vilnius, near the Government on Kudirka Square.

Also smaller pickets took place near the headquarters of the employers' organizations.  

The main slogan of the action was "We demand a pay rise, healthy and safe jobs!"

Trade unions participated in a traditional large exhibition

On February 2 education and career exhibition „Studies 2017“ was held in Lithuanian Exhibition Centre LITEXPO. Thousands of students, pupils from senior classes and their parents visited this traditional exhibition.

Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation (LPSK)  youth team also participated in this event for the first time.
