25th Lithuanian Industrial Workers' Family Sports Games took place

On June 19-20, in Šventoji, recreation center "Energetikas", the 25th Lithuanian Industrial Workers' Family Sports Games took place. It was organized after a two-year break and attended by 500 industrial workers and their families from all over Lithuania. 13 teams from the heat industry, chemical industry, electricity and other companies participated in the Games.
Participants competed in various individual and team competitions: sport fishing, team and family volleyball, rope pulling, log cutting, races in various age groups, children's and adult dodgeball games, relays, etc.
The LPPSF Code of Ethics was unanimously approved by the Council

At the meeting of the Council of the Lithuanian Industry Trade Union Federation (LPPSF) held on 20 May, the Code of Ethics was unanimously approved.
It should be noted that the LPPSF is the first trade union in Lithuania to approve a document of this level.
A long-waited precedent in Lithuania
For the first time in Lithuania, an interference in trade union activities was punished by the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania. A prosecutor’s office directed the case to a court and both – a court of the first instance and a court of appeal – adopted a decision in favour of a trade union.

This year, as we express our gratitude for health workers who have fought tirelessly against COVID-19, we condemn the efforts of pharmaceutical companies to slow global vaccination efforts.
