In memoriam

We are very sad to hear about the demise of our colleague, chairman of the board of the LAB «Energija» Aivars Āboliņš, who, first of all was our dear friend.

It is indeed a big loss not only to the Latvian trade union movement, but also for us – your friends and colleagues from the Lithuanian energy trade unions. Thanks to Aivars we have tight and friendly relationship between our organizations.

Aivars will always remain in our memory as talented, strong, selfless trade union leader and a good friend, a highly valued and trusted cooperation partner. We believe that his professional values as a trade union leader have been and will remain an inspiration to many trade unionists, as a beautiful testimony.
