There are also Committees for women and youth.

The Federation operates in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as the conventions of the International Labor Organization. The activity of the LPPSF is based on the statutes registered in accordance with the established procedure and the Code of Ethics.

We provide consulting, mediation and legal services to our members: we advise on the Labor Code and other labor law issues; we mediate in collective bargaining with employers, labor disputes; we represent the employees at all levels and relevant institutions. LPPSF also initiates amendments to the law, Government resolutions, other legal acts.

The LPPSF is currently one of the biggest affiliates of the Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation (LPSK).

It is affiliated to the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU), Public Services International (PSI) and IndustriAll Europe.

We also work with Nordic IN and Baltic IN coordination groups and cooperate with trade unions in Latvia, Estonia, Denmark, Norway and  other countries as well.
