European industrial trade unions call for investment in sustainable industry

On March 18, we stand in solidarity with industrial trade unions across Europe, which are launching a collective action for a sustainable industrial strategy.

Europe must act NOW – investment in industry is essential!
Geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty are causing great concern among industrial workers across Europe. This is reflected in election results, which often bring little optimism.

Industrial workers face real challenges:

  • Factory closures and restructuring;
  • Investment freezes and declining demand;
  • Cost of living crisis and austerity policies.

Europe must invest in good industrial jobs!

We demand:

  • Investment in a modern and competitive industry;
  • Affordable and clean energy;
  • Social protections for workers;
  • Sustainable economic growth without harsh austerity measures.

Our defense is not just about increasing military budgets. Europe will only be truly strong if we also ensure economic resilience and social stability!
