On November 10 conference of the Lithuanian Industry Trade Union Federation’s (LPPSF) youth took place in Vilnius.
It gathered youth representatives from organizations within the Federation.
At the conference a discussion was held about benefits of trade union membership, negotiations and leadership.
Later, the panel discussion took place on how a trade union can become a springboard to success.
Participants of the meeting have elected a new leader for the LPPSF Youth Unit. Henceforth Justina Šmaižienė from AB “Klaipėdos energija”, a new chairperson of the youth unit, will replace the former leader Jolita Kazakevičienė.
