The International Women’s Day is celebrated around the world today, on March 8.
We wish all women to see goodness, light, hope and not to forget to smile even in the greatest trials!
Today we take an inspiration and strength from Ukrainian women who, in the face of a brutal war, remain Women of the capital letter: the unbreakable mothers, wives, sisters, grandmothers who remained in the bombed cities, especially in Kiev, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kherson.
Also from women who, despite the shootings and the imminent danger to their lives, leave their homeland with their loved ones, keeping a bright hope of returning back home one day.
Today we are with women who are being exploited and raped by Russian soldiers, and this will leave indelible wounds on their souls.
Today, we feel pain for the brave workers who are being held as hostage in occupied power plants in Ukraine and who are feeling huge tensions, not only because of the pressure of the enemy, but also because of the great responsibility for the security of Ukraine and the whole Europe.
Today, we carry bright blue and yellow in our hearts and blooming sunflowers in our hands, a symbol of Ukraine.
Today we say – “Hold on, sisters!”, “Тримайтеся, сестри!”
