A roundtable discussion of the project “Improving Social Dialogue in Industry Sector in Lithuania” was held

On December 17, 2020, the remote round table discussion of the Project “Improving Social Dialogue in Industry Sector in Lithuania” was held.

It was attended by Jorgen Kaurin, the Political Adviser of the United Federation of Trade Unions „Fellesforbundet“, Cathrine Ulvøy, the „Fellesforbundet“ Expert in Collective Bargaining, Dalia Jakutavičė, the President of the Lithuanian Industry Trade Union Federation (LPPSF) and the National Project Experts – doc. dr. Vida Petrylaitė and sociologist, analyst of the public institution “Enterprise Lithuania” Marius Kalanta. The discussion was moderated by Jurga Subačiūtė-Žemaitienė, the project coordinator and Vice-President of the LPPSF.

The participants discussed a contribution of national experts to the project, the implemented activities and an outlook of the future activities. All participants agreed that the trainings and live meetings of the project should be postponed until the dangers of the COVID-19 pandemic are overcome and everyone is back to normal. Possibly, in the best case scenario, it might be on the 1st quarter of the year 2021.

The project is planned to be finished by the end of the December, 2021.
