Lithuanian Industry Workers' Families Sports Games 2018

On June 9-10, 2018, in the resort Šventoji near the Baltic sea, the XXIII Lithuanian Industry Workers' Families Sports Games were held. 

More than 900 workers from industry enterprises, which trade unions are associated members of Lithuanian Industry Trade Unions' federation (LITUF), as well as their family members gathered to take part in the event.

Chairman of the LITUF Juozas Neverauskas and guests - the chairperson of the Confederation of Lithuanian Trade Unions Inga Ruginiene and the Member of Lithuanian Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Gediminas Vasiliauskas - welcomed the participants at traditional opening ceremony in Saturday morning.

Over 500 medals were awarded to participants of team games (family and beach volleyball, rope pulling, log cutting, etc.) and individual competitions (darts, checkers, chess, runs, weight lifting, etc.).

The most sporty prize winners were UAB „Elektrėnų komunalinis ūkis“ –21 prizes, second one – Achema Trade Union (20 prizes) and Vilniaus energetikų Trade Union (17 prizes).
