The European Public Service Union (EPSU) is hosting strategic organizing workshop for trade union leaders in Warsaw on January 14–15, under the theme “Building Union Power and Strength – A Strategic Approach.” This is the second part of a series of training sessions.

Participants include representatives from EPSU-affiliated organizations, as well as leaders from the Lithuanian Industry Trade Union Federation. Among them are Birutė Daškevičienė, Chairperson of the Achema Employees’ Trade Union, her colleague Simona Misiūnė, and Ramūnas Narbutas, Chairperson of the Turto Bankas Trade Union.

The event is designed for trade union leaders aiming to deepen their strategic organizing skills, build stronger organizations, provide higher-quality representation services, and attract more members. Discussions and workshops are focused on key priorities to enhance the effectiveness of trade unions.

Additionally, the training will refine the organizations’ strategic plans, focusing on membership growth, member engagement and motivation, collective bargaining, communication, dialogue with social partners, and other goals.

These workshops will give participants the opportunity to share experiences, discuss best practices, and collectively seek solutions to strengthen the role and impact of trade unions.
